Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join Novo Nordisk Rare Disease in Zurich as the Global Medical Excellence & Scientific Communication Director, playing a critical role in shaping the future of Global Medical Affairs. You will co-lead the integration of a new therapeutic asset, laying the foundation for a new area within the company. Day-to-day responsibilities involve balancing strategic thinking with robust execution, driving medical excellence, and developing comprehensive Medical Affairs strategies for rare blood and rare kidney diseases. A key focus is translating medical strategic priorities into cohesive, consistent, and proactive global scientific communication strategies, ensuring complex clinical data is transformed into impactful communication for improved clinical care. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in pharma or biotech, demonstrated expertise in Medical Affairs product launches, and an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PhD, or MD). This high-impact position requires fluency in English and outstanding stakeholder management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial global matrix environment.
