Job Summary
This leadership role involves spearheading the integration of Agentic AI across the BMW Group, acting as the central AI Incubator. The Lead will design and manage a team of AI experts, driving the implementation of Agentic AI solutions into operational processes in collaboration with IT and relevant departments. Key responsibilities include providing strategic advice, prioritizing use cases, and defining the functional architecture for autonomous multi-agent systems. The role also requires developing a comprehensive data and knowledge strategy to ensure AI agents have relevant context, and establishing robust, scalable, and secure operating processes. This position is ideal for a thought leader with deep expertise in LLM-based multi-agent systems who is ready to define the future of mobility through advanced AI orchestration.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a comparable field. Additional certifications in cloud technologies, data science, or AI are an advantage.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience with AI systems
- Practical understanding of modern AI architectures
- Practical expertise in agent-based AI and implementation of LLM-based AI agents or multi-agent systems
- Experience in analyzing processes and identifying change potential through AI
- Experience in the use of pre-trained large language models, context engineering, RAG, and knowledge retrieval

- Unlimited contract duration. Must be able to ensure secure, scalable integration of AI agent solutions using BMW Group IT platforms.
