Job Summary

This permanent, full-time IT Specialist role in Neustadt an der Donau focuses on maintaining and enhancing core IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include configuring and managing network security, specifically Sophos XG firewalls, and performing administration and maintenance of SQL databases, ideally SQL Server 2016. The specialist will also manage Hyper-V virtualized server environments (Server 2016 preferred) and develop PowerShell scripts for IT automation. A crucial part of the role involves utilizing and developing reports using List & Label and administering ManageEngine solutions. Candidates require a degree in Computer Science or a related field, several years of system administration experience, and proven proficiency in the listed technologies, coupled with strong communication and a solution-oriented work ethic. This position offers a stable, permanent contract with a 35-hour work week.
