Job Summary

This Data Scientist role, based in Weiden, Germany, involves taking full end-to-end responsibility for the Machine Learning (ML) lifecycle, from initial data analysis and feature engineering through to model deployment and monitoring. The successful candidate will develop advanced ML models, including Deep Learning Models (DLMs), probabilistic forecasting, recommender systems, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), alongside implementing Generative AI solutions like RAG and prompt design. A core part of the job is designing Azure Lakehouse architectures and building efficient pipelines for model training and deployment. Collaboration with business units such as Marketing, E-commerce, and Logistics is essential to ensure measurable business value. This position requires strong technical leadership, including design decisions, code reviews, and ensuring compliance with evaluation, safety, and AI Act requirements, offering a challenging and impactful role in a cross-functional environment.
