PLD/FPGA Developer for Aerospace Software | PLD/FPGA-Entwickler für Luftfahrt-Software (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves developing PLD/FPGA solutions for critical embedded systems used in aerospace applications, including large aircraft, business jets, and helicopters. Day-to-day tasks include translating technical requirements into optimal hardware architecture and FPGA control systems, defining and programming Board Support Packages (BSPs), and conducting comprehensive PLD/FPGA reviews (from requirements analysis to detailed design). The developer will also be responsible for developing test strategies and documenting verification results. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, proven experience in PLD firmware and embedded systems development, and familiarity with specific FPGA tools (Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero). Experience with aerospace standards like RTCA DO 254 and model-based development (Matlab/Simulink) is highly valued.
