Job Summary

This entrepreneurial role involves managing the UCP Academy, a global learning platform dedicated to expanding knowledge and skills in unarmed civilian protection (UCP). The Academy Manager will be central to strengthening partnerships with academic institutions, civil society, and donors, while driving outreach and promotional efforts in collaboration with the Communications team. A key focus is ensuring the Academy's long-term sustainability by developing viable fee-for-service structures and monitoring performance metrics. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field like International Development or Education, coupled with at least five years of experience in online learning management, partnerships coordination, or training initiatives. Familiarity with e-learning technologies and strong analytical and communication skills are essential. This position offers a unique chance to blend strategic partnership development with digital platform oversight, contributing directly to global peacebuilding efforts and expanding access to critical UCP learning worldwide.

Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, International Development, Peacebuilding, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in online learning management, training initiatives, partnerships coordination, or programming roles.
  • Proven experience supporting outreach, fundraising, or marketing efforts within NGO, academic, or social sector settings.
  • Professional experience or familiarity with peacebuilding, protection, humanitarian action, or adjacent fields (Desirable).
