Job Summary

This position seeks an ambitious Substation Planning Engineer to drive complex development projects in electrical and automation technology for high-profile clients. The core responsibility involves the planning and development of technical solutions, including primary and secondary technology, for medium and high-voltage substations. Day-to-day tasks include creating essential technical concepts and plans, such as wiring diagrams, terminal plans, and cable lists, performing load calculations and network analyses, and overseeing project management and inter-departmental coordination. A key function of this role is acting as the competent interface between the client and the development team, routinely analyzing complex problems, and deriving strategic solutions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, possesses proven experience in substation planning and construction, and is proficient in specialized CAD and network calculation tools. Fluency in German and strong English skills are mandatory, along with a commitment to quality assurance and safety management.
