Job Summary

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to complex maritime large-scale projects, specifically within the naval shipbuilding and defense sector in Hamburg. Day-to-day, you will be deeply involved in the conceptual development and selection of electrical systems, creating technical specifications, managing supplier requests, and coordinating technical negotiations. A key part of the job involves maintaining construction and testing lists, managing equipment databases, and ensuring seamless integration of systems within the vessel through internal coordination. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in electrical design for large-scale projects, preferably in the maritime industry. Proficiency in standard CAD tools (such as TC NX, AutoCAD, or EPLAN) and strong German and good English language skills are essential for success in this challenging and rewarding role.
