Job Summary

This role is for a Service Implementation Manager who will play a crucial part in modernizing Berlin's public administration by driving digitalization forward. The successful candidate will join a self-organizing, motivated, and supportive 10-person team focused on Service Transition. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and controlling service implementations, transitioning new products and services into regular operation, analyzing and consolidating requirements from various departments, and moderating requirement workshops. The role also involves maintaining and developing implementation and transition processes, integrating IT and business services into the ITSM process and tool landscape, and evolving the Service Request Catalog. This position offers a dynamic environment with diverse tasks, contributing to the foundation of future-oriented service delivery for the Berlin administration. It requires a strong understanding of IT service processes and ITIL-based IT Service Management.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or university of applied sciences degree (e.g., Computer Science or Business Informatics) or comparable knowledge and skills acquired otherwise.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in implementing and optimizing IT service processes
  • Experience in developing implementation and action plans for service introductions
  • Experience in target group-specific consulting, especially in Service Implementation Management
  • Experience in presentation and moderation
  • Experience working with ITSM platforms (advantageous)
