Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT Systems Administrator to ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of the entire IT infrastructure for a manufacturing client. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. The administrator will also be crucial in managing network components, including routers, firewalls, and switches, while handling 1st and 2nd level support for incident resolution and comprehensive documentation. A core focus will be on implementing security measures, managing data backup and recovery concepts, and optimizing processes through automation. Key qualifications include a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent degree, coupled with several years of professional experience in client/server administration, deep knowledge of Active Directory, and proficiency in network architecture (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
