Job Summary
This role is for a Development Specialist in Research & Development, focusing on sustainable mobility by contributing to the development of synthetic rubber for tire production. The specialist will manage customer relationships with global tire manufacturers, develop solutions for technical requirements, and play a key role in introducing product innovations. Responsibilities also include developing methods to understand the interaction of high-performance rubber with fillers, providing recommendations for rubber compound processing, and optimizing measurement methods for material analysis. The ideal candidate will have a background in plastics, materials, or chemical engineering, with experience in rubber technology and strong analytical skills, contributing to a team-oriented and innovative environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Plastics Technology, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable engineering science (including Industrial Engineering), or in a natural science field (Chemistry, Physics). Doctorate is advantageous but not required.
Experience
- Professional experience in rubber technology or the rubber/plastics industry (advantageous)
- Experience in tire application, compound production of polymer and rubber compounds, and extrusion (advantageous)
