Job Summary

This role involves ensuring sustainable quality assurance within the industrial 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing sector. The Metrology Technician will be responsible for the application, expansion, and continuous development of existing metrology techniques, focusing heavily on 3D coordinate measuring machines. Key daily tasks include defining precise measurement strategies, evaluating measuring and testing equipment, and planning and creating measurement procedures. A significant part of the job involves programming modern 3D measuring machines (both tactile and optical). The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, extensive experience with optical or tactile measuring systems, and advanced knowledge of quality methods like 8D, FMEA, and AUKOM, along with familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards. This position also requires providing technical guidance and coordination to team colleagues, making strong technical expertise and leadership skills crucial.
