Job Summary
The Municipality of Niederwerrn is seeking a dedicated Finance Specialist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis (39 hours/week). This role is crucial for managing the municipality's financial operations, focusing heavily on municipal tax affairs, asset management, and budgetary processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the assessment and collection of local taxes (trade, property, and dog tax), managing insurance and claims, handling fixed asset accounting, and processing contracts and financial orders. A key part of the role involves contributing to budget planning, preparing financial statistics, and completing annual financial statements. Candidates must possess a background in public administration or a comparable commercial field, coupled with solid knowledge of municipal budget and treasury law (KommHV-K).
