This Senior Professional role is crucial for a leading auditing and tax consulting firm, focusing on clients within the rapidly evolving energy and water supply sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting annual and consolidated financial statement audits according to HGB and specific industry regulations (EnWG). A key focus will be assisting with consulting and revision projects related to current energy industry topics, special audits, and advising clients on funding for climate protection and energy efficiency initiatives. Furthermore, you will support the team in implementing and auditing complex sustainability requirements (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, and LkSG). The ideal candidate possesses a degree in economics or commercial law, coupled with 2-3 years of professional auditing experience and initial practical experience in energy economics.
