Job Summary

This role is for a System Engineer specializing in OEM Laser Systems within the future market of laser and photonics, working for a global leader in optical precision measurement based on Nobel Prize-winning frequency comb technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire system development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through verification and validation. Day-to-day tasks involve the development, setup, and characterization of highly stable laser measurement systems tailored for specific industrial customer needs. Key responsibilities include system design, realization, and continuous improvement of complex, robust laser systems for high-precision measurements, along with creating functional, requirements, and interface specifications. The position requires a degree in Physics or a related field, combined with several years of professional experience in systems engineering of complex optical or laser-based systems, and strong expertise in optics, lasers, electronics, and control engineering.
