Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join the Asset Management team at MITNETZ STROM, a major regional distribution grid operator in Eastern Germany. The core mission is to shape the technical future of the grid by developing and maintaining technical standards for operating equipment, materials, and technologies, specifically focusing on local network stations and medium/low-voltage switchgear. Day-to-day tasks include technical fundamental work, managing technical regulations, conducting quality management and assurance for electrical components, and providing expert technical support to various departments like operations and project management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, deep expertise in energy technology devices and components, and proven experience in planning, dimensioning, and quality assessing electrical operating equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
