Job Summary

This role as a Frontend Developer at Deutsche Bahn involves driving the digital transformation of mobility by developing, implementing, and customizing technical components for large-scale applications serving millions of passengers. Day-to-day tasks include programming interfaces, modules, and databases, comprehensive bug fixing, and ensuring code quality through rigorous code reviews and test automation. The developer is expected to actively contribute to the refinement of complex functional requirements, optimize existing products, and independently develop new software, ensuring the technical future-readiness of the IT systems. Key qualifications include several years of experience in web development using frameworks like VueJS, Angular, or React, coupled with hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) and robust CI/CD practices (Gitlab-CI, Jenkins).
