Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within the Industry Services division in Burghausen. The professional will be responsible for executing NDT procedures, primarily focusing on radiographic testing (RT), ensuring the highest technical and safety standards are met. Key responsibilities include acting as the chief supervisor for radiation sources, guaranteeing radiation safety during X-ray procedures, and securing all controlled areas according to safety regulations. The role also involves the safe transportation of radioactive preparations using an ADR-certified vehicle. Furthermore, the tester will lead and guide an assistant, documenting all measurements and test results meticulously, and making independent technical decisions regarding the execution of testing work. This position requires specific certifications (RT1 or higher, UT1/PT1/MT1/VT1, valid radiation protection course, and ADR Class 7 license) along with fluent German and good English skills, offering a chance to contribute to global safety standards.
