This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer or certified Construction Technician seeking a challenging role in the Rhine-Ruhr area, focusing on the expansion of fiber optic networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising various civil engineering projects, specifically related to fiber optic cable laying. Key daily tasks include construction supervision, ensuring quality control of executed measures, independently preparing specifications and tender documents, and managing variation orders (Nachtragsmanagement). You will also be crucial in supporting cost and schedule control, and maintaining close collaboration with clients, planners, and subcontractors. This role requires a background in civil engineering, extensive experience in cable laying or fiber optic technology, and strong project management and tendering process knowledge, complemented by fluent German skills.
