Research Associate in Artificial Intelligence and Circular Economy | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as a Research Associate within the easy.dpp.nrw project, focusing on developing a modular, scalable software toolkit for the Digital Product Passport (DPP). The core mission is to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), including analytical and generative methods, to enable small and medium-sized enterprises in North Rhine-Westphalia to identify and implement suitable Circular Economy strategies. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, developing and evaluating new AI approaches such as Transfer Learning, Fine-Tuning, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs), and integrating these applications into the DPP software toolkit. The successful candidate must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, possess strong expertise in Machine Learning/AI, and be proficient in programming languages like Python, C, or C++.
