Job Summary

The Senior Power BI Engineer will be the central driver in establishing and scaling a modern Microsoft Power BI environment, focusing on architectural design, implementation, and governance. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing impactful, interactive reports and dashboards for management and specialist departments, defining best practices, and ensuring data quality and security. A crucial part of the role involves building a self-service BI community and coaching users to enable autonomous data utilization, thus laying the foundation for a data-driven organization. This position requires deep expertise in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, coupled with experience in database technologies like MS SQL Server or Azure Synapse. This role offers significant creative freedom and high visibility, including direct engagement with executive management, within a development bank committed to sustainable and societal projects.
