Job Summary

This role involves the detailed electrical design and planning of switchgear for automation systems, specifically within the event technology sector. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for dimensioning electrical circuits, managing and monitoring cabinet construction, and driving standardization and efficiency through the reuse and streamlining of existing solutions, alongside developing new circuit variants. Key qualifications include a degree or technician certification in Electrical or Automation Engineering and proficiency with electrical design tools, ideally EPLAN P8. The position requires strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards (e.g., EN 60204-1) and a high degree of responsibility, quality, and cost awareness.
