Electrical Design Engineer | Elektrokonstrukteur (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer focused on the planning, design, and project management of switchgear and electrical systems for machinery and industrial plants in Aalen. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed circuit diagrams and wiring schematics using EPLAN P8, implementing hardware planning tasks, and managing design modifications in existing schematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating customer requirements into technical designs and resolving complex technical issues through collaboration with internal departments and external suppliers. Key qualifications include a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, practical experience with electrical CAD systems (preferably EPLAN P8), and basic knowledge of PLC controls. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and the prospect of permanent employment with the client company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. Technician qualification (Weiterbildung zum Techniker) is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in control technology and automation solutions
- Professional experience with electrical CAD systems, preferably EPLAN P8
- Experience in hardware planning and electrical design for machinery and equipment
