This role is centered on the system engineering and development of highly complex antenna systems crucial for satellite communication and deep-space aerospace projects. The successful candidate will drive the entire lifecycle, from initial system documentation and technical specification creation to advanced RF design, simulation, and worldwide commissioning. Key daily tasks involve designing reflector antenna systems operating up to 100 GHz, developing complex transmit and receive chains using coaxial and waveguide technology, and collaborating internationally on component selection and system integration. You should possess a degree in Electrical, Communications, or RF Engineering and bring experience in HF measurement technology and simulation environments. Affinity for scripting languages like MATLAB or Python is beneficial.
