Job Summary

This role involves acting as the primary IT Application Specialist for Quality Assurance within a large, globally operating company in the Nuremberg region. The specialist will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the measurement data software "PALEDO," ensuring its availability and functionality within the production environment. Key tasks include developing and implementing interfaces between measuring devices and the software (using technologies like OPC UA or REST-APIs), integrating measurement technology into the existing IT landscape, and creating dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and analysis. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Engineering, possesses strong experience in IT system support within production or quality environments, and is skilled in data science methods and analyzing large datasets. Excellent German and English skills are required, along with strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork.
