Job Summary

This role involves joining an expert team focused on protecting critical energy infrastructure, specifically High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) plants, against current and future cyber threats at an international large-scale company in Nuremberg. The Administrator will be responsible for evaluating, planning, implementing, and maintaining modern IT/OT infrastructures with a strong emphasis on network security, firewalls, routing, and switching. Day-to-day tasks include continuous analysis of vulnerabilities, error remediation, and the ongoing development of the security architecture. A key aspect is collaboration with Control and Automation teams to securely integrate new technologies. Candidates must possess a degree or relevant training in IT, Network Technology, or Cybersecurity, coupled with strong foundational knowledge in IT administration and experience in cybersecurity, ideally within critical infrastructure environments. Excellent German and English skills are required to succeed in this impactful, future-focused position.
