Job Summary
The Data and System Management Administrator supports the Building Maintenance department and project teams within the Mainz municipal building management sector. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate architectural and building inventory data, ensuring the integrity of essential systems. Day-to-day tasks involve performing assistant work, reviewing and modifying architectural plans, conducting data verification, and updating building inventory documents, specifically utilizing tools like Allplan CAD. A key responsibility is the administration (First Level Support) of departmental databases and ensuring accurate area calculations according to DIN 277 standards. Candidates should possess strong IT skills, ideally in CAFM and CAD, and must have relevant qualifications in administration, technical system planning, or construction drafting, coupled with a willingness to pursue further professional development. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible hours and mobile work options.
Required Skills
Education
Required qualifications include: Eligibility for the second entry-level career in Administration and Finance; OR completed training as an Administrative Specialist or completed Administrative Course I; OR completed training as a Technical System Planner or Construction Draftsperson (with willingness to complete further qualification); OR completed three-year commercial training (with willingness to complete further qualification).
Experience
- Professional experience in data and system management (Implied)
- Knowledge of relevant laws, ordinances, and directives (e.g., construction contract law, building standards)
- SAP knowledge (Desirable)

Additional
- Must be willing to complete further professional training/qualification if entering with Technical System Planner, Construction Draftsperson, or three-year commercial training background. Position is located in Mainz.
