This full-time, permanent position in Bochum seeks a skilled Materials Tester, specifically focusing on the measurement and quality control of turbine blades. The role involves critical non-destructive testing, primarily utilizing ultrasonic measuring devices to assess blade integrity and wall thickness according to strict specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating ultrasonic equipment, meticulously documenting measurement results using a PC, performing visual quality checks, and inputting data into the operational data acquisition system. Ideal candidates possess a completed technical or trade apprenticeship, preferably from a foundry environment, coupled with professional experience in an industrial production setting.
