Job Summary
This role is a key position within the Central Administration of the Bavarian University of Public Service (HföD), focusing on enhancing the university's public image and recruiting future civil servants. The successful candidate will manage a broad scope of communications activities, including developing and executing youth recruitment strategies, organizing trade fair appearances, and implementing marketing campaigns. A major component involves online communication, requiring the conception, editing, and maintenance of the university's website (including a relaunch project) and managing social media channels through targeted content creation (text, graphics, photo, video). Candidates must possess a relevant university degree, multi-year professional experience in PR, marketing, and online communication, excellent German language skills, and proficiency with CMS tools and design software like Adobe CC. This is an attractive, permanent, part-time position (0.5%) based in Munich, offering job security and flexible working arrangements.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (e.g., in Communication, Media, Marketing) or supplementary journalistic traineeship/volontariat
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in public relations, marketing, and online communication (especially social media)
- Comparable experience (e.g., full-time journalistic or editorial activity)
- Experience in project management and collaboration with external service providers
- Practical experience in public procurement is advantageous

Additional
- Basic knowledge of the structure of the Bavarian State Administration; willingness and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with the procedures and customs of an authority if practical administrative experience is lacking. Location is Munich/Lehel.
