Job Summary

This Senior System Engineer role, focusing on Microsoft technologies, involves maintaining and evolving a complex IT system landscape within the IT and Digitalization department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, administration, and ensuring the availability of the IT infrastructure. Key daily tasks include leading and participating in IT projects, independently processing incoming requests and resolving technical disruptions quickly and effectively, and creating and maintaining comprehensive technical and operational documentation. Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications combined with extensive practical experience. The role offers specialization in either Client or Server teams, requiring expertise in Windows Desktop/Server OS, Group Policy, OS Deployment (e.g., Intune/Aagon ACMP) for the Client team, or deep knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization (VMware vSphere/ProxMox), MS SQL Server, and potentially Linux for the Server team. The position is permanent, located in Kassel or Wiesbaden, and requires fluent German language skills.
