Job Summary

This role involves working as an Electric Meter Installer, primarily focusing on the replacement of electricity meters and the conversion to smart metering systems on behalf of energy suppliers. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine meter exchanges, upgrading systems to intelligent measurement technology, and meticulous documentation of all work performed. The position offers a stable, full-time, permanent contract with a 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day) and guarantees no shift work or weekend assignments. A key benefit is the provision of a company car with a fuel card, usable from the employee's residence. The ideal candidate must have a completed electrical qualification and a Class B driving license. Comprehensive training is provided by an experienced colleague for at least 14 days, ensuring a smooth start in this regionally focused, non-traveling role.
