Day-to-day responsibilities include controlling compliance with client-specific safety regulations, performing fire watch duties, inspecting safety equipment as part of the work permit process, and conducting gas measurements (depending on qualifications). The specialist must actively identify potential hazards, initiate the emergency chain in case of danger, and lead necessary rescue measures, reporting findings to safety supervision.
