Job Summary

This full-time Laboratory Assistant role, based in Jena, offers a secure position via temporary employment with a strong chance of permanent takeover at a renowned client. The successful candidate will provide essential support within the laboratory, focusing primarily on logistics and sample preparation. Day-to-day tasks include homogenizing samples, pre-sorting sample boxes, disposing of finished samples, and emptying old retention samples. While a background or qualification in a chemical or biological laboratory environment is advantageous, it is not strictly required, as long as the applicant possesses a completed vocational training from any field. Proficiency in German (written and spoken B2 level) and familiarity with standard MS Office applications are necessary, along with the willingness to work in alternating shifts (7:00 AM - 8:00 PM).
