Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Development Engineer to drive the full product lifecycle of complex electronic systems, specializing in FPGA design and embedded software development for military video processing equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design, optimization, and implementation of new FPGA designs using Xilinx technology, leveraging Hardware Description Languages like Verilog and HLS. The engineer will also be responsible for developing C drivers for Xilinx Ultrascale series controllers under bare-metal and Linux environments. Success in this position requires managing the entire product development cycle—from initial concept through implementation, integration, and verification to final series production readiness—while ensuring documentation adheres to stringent military standards. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possess fundamental experience in Xilinx FPGA development, and demonstrate excellent proficiency in both German and English.
