Job Summary

This position offers an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join PLANTON, a rapidly growing, international analytical laboratory based in Kiel, specializing in the analysis of contaminants and residues in food, feed, and seeds. The primary focus of the role involves core laboratory analysis, specifically within the microbiology department, though opportunities in other analytical areas exist. Key responsibilities include preparing samples, executing analytical procedures using modern equipment, evaluating results, planning workflows, and participating in method development and establishment projects. Candidates must possess a technical assistant qualification (Biological Technical Assistant/Chemical Technical Assistant or equivalent in Biology or Chemistry). While professional experience is not mandatory, the role requires strong organizational skills, engagement, and team capability. This role provides comprehensive training, significant autonomy, and the prospect of a permanent contract after the probationary period within a dynamic, collegial environment.
