Job Summary

This role involves shaping the IT security architecture for a central geodata service provider in Brandenburg, Germany. The IT Security Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, conception, and implementation of IT security solutions, ensuring compliance with BSI guidelines. Key daily tasks include developing and refining the IT security concept, creating information security policies and processes, and implementing measures to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. You will also organize and conduct internal security audits, analyze security incidents, and provide security training and consultation to internal departments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field, possesses multi-year professional experience in IT security, and has knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and relevant data protection guidelines. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Potsdam, offering an attractive salary (TV-L pay grade 11) and flexible working arrangements.
