Job Summary

The VGH Insurance company is seeking a qualified Data Engineer to join their team in Hannover starting March 1, 2026. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring the reliable and efficient extraction, processing, and provision of data from various sources. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing ETL/ELT processes to prepare high-quality raw data for analytical purposes, managing and enhancing the data infrastructure (including databases and Data Warehouse structures), and integrating disparate datasets into consistent, enterprise-wide data models for BI and analytics applications. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, strong SQL skills, and experience with ETL tools, ideally Informatica PowerCenter.
