Job Summary

This role is for a Qualification Test Engineer specializing in Avionics Software Defined Radios, based in Munich. The core mission involves executing rigorous qualification tests, including EMC and environmental simulations, to guarantee the function and data integrity of next-generation military radio devices. Day-to-day tasks include designing, setting up, and automating test environments (potentially utilizing tools like Python), creating detailed qualification procedures and reports suitable for customers, and actively participating in the planning and control of qualification test campaigns. The engineer must ensure strict adherence to quality assurance measures, aerospace standards (such as RTCA/DO160, MIL-STD-461 & 810), and customer specifications. Candidates must possess a background in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology, proven professional experience in test execution and evaluation, and excellent written and verbal German skills for effective project communication.
