The Technical University of Mannheim is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Engineer in Electrical Engineering to support the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the university's laboratory facilities and educational offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and conducting laboratory exercises and practicals, designing and documenting new lab experiments, and constructing and maintaining experimental setups and test benches. The engineer will also be responsible for equipment maintenance, repairs, and ensuring safety through hazard analyses and safety briefings. Key requirements include a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and proven expertise in drive technology.
