Job Summary
This is a pivotal leadership role within the German Pension Insurance Federation (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund), overseeing the IT sector for the entire Real Estate department. The successful candidate will lead the digitalization strategy, focusing on sustainable and CO2-conscious property management. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team of 13 employees, managing personnel development, and driving strategic IT projects. A core focus will be the introduction and implementation of a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system, developing related software products (such as tendering, awarding, and accounting programs), and creating an integration platform for all departmental IT products. This role requires extensive experience in leading large IT projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to act as the central IT consultant for departmental management, ensuring the successful realization of the organization's long-term digital goals, particularly concerning Building Information Modeling (BIM) logic.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master/Diplom (Uni)) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Building Energy and Information Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in leading larger IT projects
- Professional experience ideally in the public sector and/or with real estate relevance
- Long-term technical and disciplinary leadership experience
