Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Engineering Technician focuses on the global commissioning and optimization of Automated Guided Systems (AGS/FTS), including both serial and prototype vehicles. Day-to-day tasks involve hands-on system setup at customer sites worldwide, performing crucial measurements, detailed troubleshooting, and documenting system functions like battery charging and safety shutdowns. The position requires implementing technical changes during installation phases, including updates to electrical schematics and network configurations. Candidates must hold an HTL, vocational school, or apprenticeship qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with basic knowledge of control systems and strong practical skills. A key requirement is a high willingness to travel (approximately 50%). Education

  • Experience in troubleshooting and error analysis of system failures
  • Practical experience in implementing changes based on electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Experience with measuring and documenting system parameters (e.g., current consumption, safety distances)
