Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Development Engineer specializing in the complete lifecycle management of complex system cabling, primarily within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for the development and design of system wiring using specialized tools like Zuken E³, including the selection of appropriate standard and purchased components. A critical part of the job involves creating technical concepts, detailed specifications, and ensuring comprehensive, standardized documentation within the SAP PLM system. You will act as a key interface, coordinating technical requirements with internal departments, projects, and international subcontractors. Furthermore, the role involves hands-on execution of integration and engineering tests to ensure the cabling achieves series readiness. Success requires a relevant engineering degree, several years of experience in electrical development, and expert knowledge of military norms related to EMC and power supply, coupled with fluent German and English skills.
