Job Summary

This role involves operating machinery and systems independently for the production of Dies (semiconductor chips) through various processes, including photolithography, wafer cleaning, plasma etching, and anodic glass bonding. The Chemical Technical Assistant will be responsible for continuous process monitoring, initiating corrective measures upon detecting errors, and strictly adhering to quality specifications and work instructions. A key part of the job includes performing optical inspections and evaluations of wafer surfaces using a microscope, based on a defined error catalog. Candidates must possess a completed technical vocational training (e.g., as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant) and demonstrate initial professional experience in the described field. This position requires reliability, meticulousness, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a 3-shift system under strict cleanroom conditions, offering a permanent contract in Berlin.
