Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Biological Technical Assistant or Biology Laboratory Technician specializing in Quality Control, focusing on in vitro assays within a globally active contract research organization in Heidelberg. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development, validation, and routine execution of biological analyses for determining activity in pharmaceutical starting materials and finished products. Day-to-day tasks involve working according to strict GMP guidelines, managing general cell culture laboratory organization, creating and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of analytical equipment. Key qualifications include a completed BTA or Biology Laboratory Technician education, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in a GxP environment and sterile working techniques, particularly eukaryotic cell culture and cell-based assays.
