Job Summary

This role involves joining a global leader in digitalization in Nuremberg as an Infrastructure Security Engineer, focusing heavily on Cloud Native Application Protection (CNAPP). Key responsibilities include implementing and operating the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CNAPP solution, automating related processes, and developing self-services. A significant part of the job involves conducting comprehensive security analyses, including threat modeling, manual and automated penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments of third-party components, followed by planning and implementing corrective measures. You will also be responsible for selecting and deploying new security tools based on corporate strategy and technological trends, ensuring continuous compliance with IT security requirements. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training, coupled with extensive experience in IT Security, Cloud Security, Threat Detection, and Incident Response. Strong German language skills are critical for success in this fully on-site position.
