Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or junior professionals in electrical or communication engineering to step into the world of major rail infrastructure projects across Germany (e.g., Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Kassel, Mainz). As a (Junior) Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful, on-time, and budget-compliant realization of construction projects, focusing on electrical systems, communication technology, and signaling technology (LST). Day-to-day tasks involve overseeing contractors' performance, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and frequently swapping the office for the construction site to monitor progress and safety. You will manage digital construction logs, documentation, and reporting, while ensuring safe and smooth rail operations during construction. This position offers a direct entry point into the DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, providing comprehensive training to become a certified Rail Construction Supervisor and contribute to large-scale, impactful infrastructure development.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering, Communication Technology, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable field with a focus on Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in project work or as a working student in electrical systems construction, maintenance, or upkeep is ideal
  • Willingness to undergo further training to qualify as a certified Rail Construction Supervisor
