The core responsibility involves the administration of LAN and WAN using Cisco components within an enterprise environment. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring the smooth operation of the network infrastructure through 2nd level support, assisting Network Architects in implementing and optimizing infrastructure during network projects, and securing the network using Sophos and Fortinet Firewalls, NACs, and VPNs. Successful candidates should possess a completed IT education or equivalent knowledge, coupled with practical experience in administering switches and routers from vendors like Cisco, HPE Aruba, or Juniper.
