Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious physicist focused on advancing optical measurement technology within a production environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the development and maintenance of optical measurement procedures and machines, specifically for the alignment and qualification of optical components. A core part of the job involves the scientific supervision of interferometers used in manufacturing, conducting practical experiments, meticulously analyzing data, and evaluating results, while also taking responsibility for ensuring measurement tolerances are met. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics (a PhD is advantageous) and brings knowledge of optical metrology and interferometric testing techniques. Success in this role requires strong proficiency in MATLAB, coupled with a structured, independent, and flexible approach to teamwork, making this an excellent opportunity to apply specialized scientific expertise in a high-tech production setting.
