Job Summary

This role involves taking full responsibility for specific components or systems within the automotive sector, ensuring projects adhere to strict cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating projects, managing communication and alignment with the development department and suppliers regarding component specifications, and defining and managing scope changes. The Component Owner will review technical documentation such as specifications, requirement profiles, CAD models, and supplier drawings, manage parts lists, and oversee installation space considerations. A key part of the job is actively participating in development meetings and presenting the current development status to relevant committees. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Vehicle Technology, possesses multi-year experience in component responsibility or project management, and has a strong understanding of the overall vehicle system within the automotive industry.
