Job Summary

This role involves working as a Communications Systems Engineer, primarily focusing on technical sub-project management and system integration within the naval shipbuilding and marine technology sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting procurement and performance specifications, managing and overseeing subcontractors and suppliers, and conducting technical performance evaluations of communication systems. The engineer will also be responsible for reviewing and verifying technical specifications provided by system suppliers, construction specifications, and requirements documents. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in communications or electrical engineering, possesses several years of professional experience in naval shipbuilding or operational/tactical training from the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), and has initial experience with system integration. Strong proficiency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this challenging and rewarding position.
